Description:Carbonized
fiber packing is a braided packing made of carbonized poly acrylonitrile
fiber. And Carbonized fiber packing is finished with PTFE dispersion and
lubricant. This gland packing covers wide range of application. For
example, Carbonized fiber packing can seal water, brine, factory wastes
alt solutions, mineral oil etc.It can be also used for centrifugal
pumps, agitators, mixers, sterntubes etc. What's more, Carbonized fiber
packing is relatively economic among non-asbestos packing.So Carbonized
fiber packing is widely used as it's economical and bread-and-butter
character.
Feature:
1. It has small
coefficient of friction （u=0.3）, well self lubrication, and it can save
energy consumption and reduce the damage to counterpart to prolong its
service life.
2. It has well heat conductivity, near the one of
metal（10～20kcal）, when it is used to the dynamic sealing part with high
speed, It can conduct the heat of fabrication out. Therefore, it can
avoid the burning of material caused by accumulated heat to prolong its
service life, and lower the requirement for cooling of sealing sections.
3. It can be applied to speed sealing. For example: it
can get well sealing on high pressure pump with a linear velocity of 25
m/s.
4. It has stable chemical property: as part of the
organic components of synthetic fibers have been eliminated during the
process, and only carbon is remained, so its chemical property is
stable. Meanwhile, in the course of production, there will be a cover of
PTFE on the fiber surface, which reinforces its stability of chemical
property.
